Okay I’ll admit, I’ve never actually had to use a laundromat. But I’ve always loved their charm and the retro aesthetic they embody. I recently was inspired to shoot at one and landed on Queen Street Laundry – a standard wash and dry establishment, that also happens to double as an awesome photoshoot location!

“SONG CYCLES” – 4pm
Mintox Productions, in conjunction with the Queen Street Laundromat, and the Queen West BIA, is proud to announce a unique concert experience………in a laudromat!
Bring your laundry and be entertained by Robert and his friends performing original music and contemporary Music Theatre repertoire. The first of two concerts will feature the launch of Robert’s new single (produced by Chris Brown) “Believe in Love”.
The first concert (Saturday March 3rd at 4pm) will feature an all original set with Robert and two sensational backing vocallists James King and Kim Jarrett (www.kimjarrett.com)
The second set will feature Music Theatre vocalist powerhouse Sarah Strange (http://www.2divine.ca/youre_gonna_love_me) as well as talented newcomer Sara Wilkinson (http://www.myspace.com/sarawilkinsonmusic,) who will perform her own haunting and evocative tunes as well as some well known Music Theatre repertoire. Both these singers are amazing and not to be missed!
